  • Registration forms
  • Pick up authorization/ permission to transport form
  • Copy of immunization record
  • A non-refundable registration fee and yearly supply fee
  • Completion of a basic skills assessment with a teacher for all new students

A child is considered enrolled when all forms are returned, the registration and supply fees are paid, and the basic skills assessment is completed.

Arrival/Pick-up

PLEASE ARRIVE AND PICK UP PROMPTLY!

Please arrive on time for preschool. The morning session starts at 9:00 am. Children who need care before 9:00 a.m. must be enrolled in Before Preschool Care. Children who are picked up more than 10 minutes late will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute. Please call if there is an emergency situation.

Payment

Annual fees are due at the time your child is registered for one of the above programs. This will ensure that your child's spot is reserved. For families registering after January 1st, the registration and supply fees will be prorated.

Each family will receive a monthly invoice on the 1st of the month or the closest business day.

Late fees for parent pick-up are calculated at $1.00 per minute per child for the first 15 minutes, and $2.00 per minute after that.

Monthly payments are due by the 1st of the month. If not received by the 10th, a $20.00 late fee will be assessed.

If payment is not received by the 15th, the child will not be permitted to attend class unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

No refunds are given.

Make ups

Make ups will not be given for missed classes. Classes missed for any reason will be forfeited.

Cancellations

30 days written notice is required. Failure to give proper notice will result in being billed for the next month. Please contact the front office as well as the preschool staff when withdrawing from the preschool program.

Immunizations

All students are required to be fully immunized. We do not accept a waiver. Students will be required to provide a copy of immunization records at the time of enrollment.

Illness

Please be considerate of other children and do not send a sick child to school. A fever of 100 degrees or higher, red eyes or pink eye, sore throat, unexplained rash, vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, or other symptoms that would require your child to stay home. If your child develops these symptoms while at school, we will call and ask that your child be picked up within one hour. An ill child will be isolated and given appropriate care until you arrive.

Potty Training

All children must be fully potty trained to attend preschool. They must be independent in the restroom and be able to undress and redress themselves.

Discipline

Children will naturally have conflicts in a classroom situation. In an effort to provide a peaceful classroom, the following steps will be taken to deal with conflict:

  1. Define the problem with the help of a teacher.
  2. Create a solution.
  3. Put the solution to work.
  4. Discuss the results with child.
  5. Only in extreme cases of violence or serious threat to the classroom will alternate placement of the child be considered.

Holidays and Celebrations

We will observe and discuss holidays and special occasions in our lessons. The monthly newsletters will have reminders about special parties and events. Children will be invited to bring a special treat for their birthday to share with the class. Parents are welcome to join us for all celebrations.

What to Bring/Not to Bring

Please send your child to school in appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. We will spend part of our day outside. Children need fresh air! Also remember that we will be getting dirty and messy in our efforts to have a hands on learning environment. Please send your child to school in clothes that are appropriate for these activities. An extra outfit is required in each child’s cubby at all times. Do not send toys from home unless it is a sharing day. Violent toys are never allowed. No Heelys allowed.

Donations

From time to time we will be doing projects that require special items from home such as, old magazines, empty food containers, paper towel rolls, etc. Keep us in mind before you throw those things out. We would be glad to take them off of your hands.

Lunches

Full Day Preschool students will need to bring their own lunches. (Items that do not need to be heated are preferred.)

Snacks

Snacks will be provided by Tumble Time Learning Center. Students may bring treats on their birthday and for special celebrations.
